Before you play
The essentials
Know three things before you start.
Blackout is one persistent survival world, open to Java + Bedrock, running Minecraft 26.3. The address is play.blackoutsmp.com — Bedrock players also need port 25942. That is everything you need to memorise; the rest of this guide walks you through it.

Blackout runs both editions on Minecraft 26.3. Pick the one you will actually play on — the rest of this guide reshapes itself around your choice, so you never read instructions meant for the other edition.
